Wednesday Night Bible Video Series 7:00 PM
We are humbled by God's gift of salvation, we have a heart for the hurting and those hurt by the church, and are excited to see relationships with God and each other grow.
We believe all Scripture is inspired of God, and that it is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in the Triune God: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His incarnation, His substitutionary death on the cross for our sin, His bodily resurrection and that He is coming again for His Bride the Church.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who indwells, seals, and guides the believer and convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
We believe in salvation by Grace. The conditions to salvation are repentance through faith in Jesus Christ and through the Power of the Holy Spirit making Him our personal Lord and Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
We believe that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteous before God only through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe all believers are called into a life where their first and foremost allegiance is to live a life of dedication to Jesus Christ. As Christians worldly allegiances are always second to our dedication and allegiance to God.
We believe that church fellowship or membership is not synonymous to salvation and that fellowship is essential to one's spiritual growth and in keeping with Christ commandment to assemble. (Hebrews 10:25). We view church fellowship/membership as a voluntary covenant to the local Church and a commitment to the body of Christ where one should use the gifts and talents given of God for the edification of other believers and for the building up of God's Kingdom, in obedience to Christ command to "go ...and make disciples of all nations.“ (Matthew 28:19)
We believe in the creation account as given in Genesis chapter one, and that God called into being the universe as an expression of His love and power.
We believe in believer's baptism, or baptism for those who understand what it means to follow Christ in obedience. That baptism by water, whatever the mode, serves as a witness and sign of one's repentance, forgiveness of sin and a desire to walk in newness of life with Christ. It is also viewed as one's willingness to participate in the life of the church while giving and receiving the care, council, and encouragement of other believers.
We believe in the regular observance of the Lord's Supper or Communion.
We believe that marriage was instituted by God and is reserved for one biological man and one biological woman for life (see By-laws).
"Our pastors preach from the Word of God, and the question/answer format is informative and thought-provoking"
"We have wonderful, seasoned pastors with much knowledge to share, and a wonderful congregation that cares for people."
"Our church is small but provides large blessings due to the interactions with each other. Our pastors lead us in Bible-based discussion, which I very much like."
"Hope-Filled is a place to love, be loved, accepted, and to grow spiritually. I'm so thankful for my church family!"
”I feel blessed every time I walk through the doors... We are like a large family who love and care for one another."
First, we understand that church is not a building, a classroom, or a service time. According to scripture, a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ. Jesus shows us in Matthew 18 that a gathering can be as few as two people together.
Our gatherings are with people from all walks of life and from diverse backgrounds. We sing together, pray together, and read the Bible together. We genuinely care for each other and share challenges and celebrations in life together.
There is no pressure and we will not embarass you. The service starts at 10:00 AM on Sundays and usually involves singing of worship music and hymns, followed by sharing prayer requests and reporting answered prayers. We read scripture that goes with the message (sermon) that day, and one of our pastors preaches what God has laid on his heart to share. After the message, we respond to it (if we feel led to) by discussing points that were intriguing, or that resonated with us, or that have special meaning to us. At any time, questions are welcomed – to make sure we understood something that was said, or to ask questions about the sermon or the Bible or about God.
There are no rules about what to bring to church other than yourself, and a open heart and mind. Bring a Bible if you have one, and if you don’t, that’s not a problem. We will be happy to give you one.
If you aren’t sure how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable is perfectly fine. There are no rules about dress and we have everything from jeans and boots to business casual to more formal.
We believe that how we dress indicates our respect and reverence for God, so generally, graphic tees or logos or brands are not worn to church.
Absolutely! Many in our church started attending because someone asked them to visit. Ask your friends if they have a place to worship and invite them to come with you, especially at times like Christmas and Easter. If they aren’t Christians, ask them if they’d like to learn more about God and Jesus and invite them to experience a Christian worship service with you.
There are so many questions that could be asked, but yours is the most important! Our Contact page is a great place to ask any questions you have. One of our pastors would love to follow up with you by email, or phone, or in person – whichever is the best for you.
